Unable to close the front door

In recent weeks after having our front door frame replaced and the lock on the door also replaced, the front door now requires a slight amount of force applied to make sure the bolt from the door lock propery enters the hole in the door frame. Despite a series of cases where I have woken up in the morning to find our front door wide open, led me to put a sign on the door as reminder to make sure the door is closed properly. But the door has continued to be left open. In the most recent case, the sign had been removed by my flat mate, and the door was left open all night. To remedy this, I replaced the sign on the door and casually mentioned to all household members that the door must be closed and locked at night. However, while my suggestion was open, and not directed or targetted at anyone even though I knew who was at fault (again) , it led my flatmate to burst into tears claiming that she was under too much stress.

So todays reason for my flat mate pissing me off;

Being in denial about her responsibility for closing and locking the front door properly.
